RUSSIAN SHASHLYK (Lamb on skewers)

Ingredients
1 onion
Vinegar
Oil
750g lean lamb
1 teaspoon (5 ml) Robertsons Zeal
Water
Robertsons Barbecue SpiceInstructions
- Cut the meat into cubes and place in a dish. Season with Zeal.
- Add chopped onion and equal quantities of water and vinegar. Soak for 2 -3 hours
- Take the meat out of the liquid, drain and brush with a little oil.
- Sprinkle liberally with Barbecue spice.
- Thread onto skewers and braai or grill, turning frequently for 10 -15 minutes.
- Serve with boiled rice.
