Visit Nederburg for a tour of the cellar, old cellar museum and taste our award winning wines under the guidance of our knowledgeable staff.
With so many flavours, textures and varieties of cheese available, the ideal matching can be quite a challenge. Contrary to popular belief, white wines often complement cheese better than red wines but when artfully combined, you can show both white and red wines to best effect with the right cheese. We’ll show you how simple and what fun it is to match the perfect wine to balance the flavour, sweetness, softness and texture of the cheese.
Cost:
R40 per single tasting (four cheese paired with four wines from our top ranges)
R55 per double tasting (eight cheeses paired with four wines from our top ranges)
Please note that all cheeses paired with our wines are made from goat’s milk.
MYSTERY TASTING EXPERIENCE: R85 (NEW)
Nederburg, the official wine sponsor of MasterChef South Africa is offering a playful food and wine pairing featuring an element of the unknown. Visitors will know what food they are getting when they lift up the lid of their presentation containers but they won`t know which wines are being poured.
BURGERMASTER TASTING EXPERIENCE: R85 (NEW)
This fun and delicious Burgermaster Pairing teams up a selection of five mouth-watering mini-burgers each paired with a current vintage wine from the popular and award-winning Winemaster`s Reserve range.

Activities to enjoy at Nederburg include picnics, lunches, filled ciabattas and foundation platters, all accompanied by our award-winning wines.
Picnics - Available from October to April, by appointment only.
Allow the surrounding Drakenstein Mountains, verdant vineyards and magnificent gardens to relax and revive you, while sipping on a glass of wine and feasting on the delicious foods (served) in picnic baskets or book a set table in our beautiful garden on the terrace. With the historically preserved Nederburg manor house in close view, a fabulous picnic at one of the friendliest and best-loved wine farms cannot be missed!
